General Overview of Homeland Security The Department of Homeland Security is a crucial part of the administration and day to functioning of the country. The main aim of the department is to protect and secure the nation from any and every threat that comes onto us. It must be kept in mind that the Department of Homeland Security is not a single entity but a collection of various small ang big secondary as well as tertiary organization which work together 24 x7 x 365 to ensure that we can have a good night’s sleep.
